Many thanks to all the women and girls who made September 23rd a huge success!

Over 150 girls joined mentors and role models throughout the region, including 30 workshop facilitators, 35 community members and 25 student volunteers. The summit was open to K-12 girls and young women and their parents. Participants chose from various workshops: food science and engineering demonstrations, entrepreneurship challenges, engineering challenges, a film screening, panel discussions, filmmaking experiences, astronomy, science, and math explorations throughout the day. Students also explored career options in entrepreneurship, science, technology, engineering, arts, and math and had the chance to network with local female mentors in various career fields.
